HodgeNNicole Posted March 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2022 Has anyone stayed here recently? From what I read there are plenty of places to walk to and places to eat around the property. We are taking the Red Eye in pre cruise and land at 9AM wanted to drop the luggage and explore the area a bit pre cruise. We have tickets to the Marlins game Friday night (my 7 year old is baseball obsessed) just looking for options for a couple of hours in the morning prior to our room being available. We will be there the first week in June if that matters. Thanks for any tips.
Rare wolft927 Posted March 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2022 I have stayed there before, beautiful hotel and if you get a bay view with balcony get up early and watch the ships sail in from the previous cruise.
George C Posted March 19, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2022 Only reason we haven’t strayed there recently is they were sold out. Love the hotel great location, view of the ship , lots of stores and restaurants some with live music in lobby.
Air&Sea Posted March 19, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2022 We stayed there in January. It was underwhelming and over priced. Pro's: Location (with good restaurants nearby) and rooftop pool. Con's: They have rooms with one King or two Doubles (not Queens). The Parkview is a view of the service area and a building that is being renovated (read, construction noise). The park is behind that building. The hotel is run down (see attached photo of vanity light). My Diamond status wasn't useful. I typically use my F&B credit for breakfast, but the restaurant doesn't open until Lunch.
