inexpensive family friendly hotel (with room for 5) in Seattle for the night before the cruise

Planning on taking the RCI cruise to Alaska in mid August leaving on a Friday morning.  If we fly in the day before we would want an inexpensive option with space for 5 (2 adults, 3 kids 16/14/9).

 

Bonus points if there is free breakfast in the morning.

What do you define as "inexpensive"? Seattle is generally not cheap...particularly downtown. If you look around the board, you will see many people planning on staying near the airport to cut costs.

 

Hotels rarely allow you to search for rooms with occupancies above 4. I would start with rooms with "Suites" in the name. Embassy Suites definitely has possibilities, and breakfast is a key feature.

I'd look at both the Residence Inn and Homewood Suites in Seattle. The locations by the airport are cheaper and have free airport shuttles. Both include breakfast.

go to marriott's website and search for 5 ppl, click the filters and click free breakfast.  They often have lots of options that fit 5.  Sometimes you need to search 4ppl if it won't allow 5.
