Cabin ready when we board?

I am hopefully sailing on the Escape this weekend.  I was supposed to be on the 19th but it was canceled.  I was wondering if anyone has been the first on board after a cancellation or week off?  Will our cabins be ready as soon as we board?  If so, I want to just walk my luggage on with me.

Most likely the cabins will be ready, they were probably ready a couple days ago

Was on the first post covid sailing on the Escape where there were no passengers onboard previously and we were able to go directly to our cabin.  I would expect the same in this situation.

Are they normally ready when you board ?

just wondering, we are only used to Boarding Celebrity and are usually

allowed to go directly to the cabin and drop off your valuables in the safe

and pick up your room keys.

we are trying NCL for the first time this fall and was wondering the same.

thanks

It all depends on how early/late you arrive at the port. In my experience the cabins will normally be ready around 12.30-1.00 PM (some times a little later) - there will be an announcement onboard. The ship card "key" you will receive  before though, when checking in at the pier.

No, I am usually on board early and cabins sometimes are not ready until 1:00pm

If your cabin is ready when you board how soon after that is your luggage delivered?

That I would imagine won't change.  So, probably anytime between 3 and 6.  We have gotten ours after sail away.  If I knew cabins were ready I'll just roll on my bag.  Its a beach vacation, my bag is small.

We were on the Joy with no passengers before us and cabins were ready. I still checked our bags, just in case. That way you don't have to drag them along.
