Snorkeling gear.

Just wondering if pg has reinstated the use of snorkeling gear from the marina. I believe I read somewhere a long time ago that they had discontinued providing equipment because of Covid.

Are life jackets provided? And if so, do they also provide some for kids - our son is 8?

Can someone please comment if the provided fins from the marina are full-sized (ie over 2 ft long) rather than the shorter travel-sized fins? Do they have ample quantity of all sizes, including for large feet, or do they run out? If yes to both of these it will save me a lot of packing challenge!

The fins are shorter than my scuba fins but not travel fin length. Also they are full heel which is desirable when snorkeling, not so much when diving. We usually bring our own for diving but have used the ships’ sometimes. Have never heard of them running out. My husband wears as 13 and no issues getting them. 
BTW, some airlines increase free bag allowance to FP if s bag contains just scuba gear…. Recommend calling ahead.

One additional question: Is the marina open to acquire snorkeling gear on embarkation day? We will want to take the equipment with us on the first morning.

Marina was open 5:45PM - 7:00PM on embarkation day last week 😉
