Rough seas and rain end of September

If a storm is near, then you could experience rough seas. Cabo is a tender port so it's also possible they won't be able to stop there. On the last leg home (Cabo area to California), the seas will generally be rougher because you will be heading smack dab into the southbound currents and it could also be fairly windy going back. It will also be pretty hot and humid in September in Cabo. Weather changes in Cabo around the end of October/early November and then it's just glorious all winter long.

The journey home is like that most of the year (just the nature of the cruise). That's the Alaskan current that heads south along the west coast. The colder waters actually reach as far south as Cabo around the April sometime before the cold water recedes north.
