mrg0433 Posted March 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2022 We booked Carnival Liberty short cruise to Nassau to visit r daughter and family at a hotel during Feb school vac week. As it turned out, DD cancelled her hotel and booked Fla instead. A week later, Carnival changed Nassau to Bimini. Well, we were absolutely delighted with Bimini. There is a free tram around the port area. Hilton Hotel Casino also bear the ship. It was wonderful to walk off the ship and go swimming. Like a private island. Beautiful sand. We loved it. All’s well that ends well.

topaz123 Posted March 25, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 25, 2022 Bimini beautiful, but seemed like a ghost place...not much going on...few people, few places to go, etc.
cmukid87 Posted March 25, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2022 A tiny, tiny, tiny island. But we loved it. Just getting a golf cart and cruising around was a perfect day!
Lee Cruiser Posted March 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2022 That was a great change! Would take Bimini over Nassau any day. We loved our visit there back in September. Unfortunately, ours was replacing Grand Turk, which we really like as well, but was still closed. We stayed on the ship in Nassau.
