Considering a February 2023 Vision of the Seas cruise as a return to cruising.

Haven't been on this ship nor cruised since the Fall prior to pandemic.  Any tips, hints, favorite things or warnings about this ship?  Or about the rooms?  Or about returning to crusing?  And I don't recall an option of non-refundable deposits last time I reserved.  What is that all about and why choose it?  Have always reserved balconies but considering an ocean view this time for price reasons.

To allow for a refund up till final payment- lots of things can change between booking and sailing.
