But I just got off the Equinox and they offered the same promo the first 2 nights and they allowed up to $2000 per night. nice! when i was on EQ 8 months ago, they only offered the $500 promo on slot play, not table chips. 😞 And the slot play was 15% if you max out at $500 (10% if less), which is better than the website's +10% Edited April 7, 2022 by fstuff1

Did you still get +15% free if you max out at $2k?

AZ Ocean Lover Posted April 8, 2022 #32 Share Posted April 8, 2022 I feel the “scam” comes in when you spend your own money to purchase the pre-cruise offer but you can’t cash it in. If they give me promotional chips I get that you have to play them but the chips I’ve paid cash for I should be able to cash in without playing them. RichYak Posted April 8, 2022 #33 Share Posted April 8, 2022 I'm just trying to make sure I have my head wrapped around this correctly. What we're referring to as a "scam" is really only for promotional chips at table games, since winning bets payoff partially with your original promotional chips. The only way to get rid of them is to lose them. However with slots, your promotional credit is spent when you spin and anything you win is refundable cash. Therefore on slots, you really only need to bet the amount of your promotional credit whereas on table games, you effectively are betting much more. Does this sound right? Your original chips you paid for are also considered promo. You also lose out on the points on those original chips that you paid cash for since they are now promo. But getting +$50 free for $500, i'm ok with that. It didnt affect me in making Sapphire. (hundreds of hours at the table) edit: this is only for chips, not slot play Edited April 8, 2022 by fstuff1
Rare Fly and Sail Posted April 8, 2022 #35 Share Posted April 8, 2022 (edited) Careful with this if you intend to build up BCC points. It was explained to me (and I've read it somewhere too) that pre-purchased credit doesn't count as coin in/theoretical for the casino points accumulation. I don't think they would offer this for chips especially at such high numbers. One could really do some damage with that. But you never know how desperate they are for business these days and most people would probably just squander the money anyway.

The first night all I had was the pre-purchased and BCC free play and I earned points. They might not allow on the 10% bonus but I was earning as expected.
