kaymoz Posted April 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2022 (edited) BEWARE when you call Azamara that there is evidently a time limit on calls. I don't know exactly what it is, but my call was disconnected today after a few minutes just as the agent was about to provide the answer to a question. An automated voice interrupted to inform me that my call had exceeded the time limit and was being terminated. This was surprising since I'd never encountered this before with any customer service phone system where I called in or worked. And it was disappointing since I was on hold well over an hour to reach the rep! I wish Azamara's recorded hold announcement would provide a heads-up when this feature is engaged.... E.g., "Due to the heavy volume of calls, time limits have been imposed on all calls so that once you reach a representative you will have 4 (or whatever it is) minutes to conclude your business or the system will automatically disconnect you." mchell810 Posted April 7, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2022 I was on with Azamara today and the call definitely lasted more than 4 minutes. Perhaps you were unlucky enough to get an agent who found a way to disconnect your call bc he/she didn't have answers. (Yes, I am a cynic.) laurieb Posted April 7, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2022 That’s very odd. Only advice I can give is make sure you give the agent your phone number and insist they call you back if your call gets interrupted.
