I think I need to take the plunge and "jump ship". Sad but . . .

We are traveling NCL for our first, and most likely last cruise in a month. It’s been a nightmare trying to book, and rebook excursions. We’ve been cancelled with no warning, no refund, and had to ask for a refund. (Which I STILL haven’t got, it’s been weeks) Now there is an excursion in Alaska that isn’t even available because it travels to Canada, that they are still selling, that I cancelled but it still shows on our booking. I’m afraid it’s going to be a long fight to get both of those refunds. I’m not impressed.

I'll be the contrarian.

I've been on 2 cruises since December with another one in a few weeks.  All on NCL.  No snags with cruise next certificates and no qualms about relative cost.  Upselling is an easy "no", and it's over.

Where there are hiccups, I won't write them off, as I don't know of any service-oriented industry or location that hasn't had errors and missteps given morphing covid regulations, inability to retain staff, and fighting against inflation.

That said, cruise line competition is great and constructive criticism is healthy.  Hopefully it helps.
