How do you put a HOLD on a online booking.

We are seriously thinking about a cruise but cannot figure out how to put a HOLD on a stateroom.    Advice would be appreciated.

To do it online do a mock booking and at the end you may see a button to do a 24hr courtesy hold. At times the button does not show up, sometimes you get a pop up when trying to navigate away from the page. 

 

You can also call to do a courtesy hold.

I had to do a mock booking. Click on continue, put in your information, name, phone number, etc. but no credit card info. Then click the X on the upper middle where it says celebrity cruises and it will give you the option to put it on hold.

If you don’t see the option after clicking the x logo, try a different web browser.

You don't have to go as far as putting in your name etc.   While you are viewing the price summary page with the Book It button,  just press the Celebrity logo at the top of the screen.  You will receive a popup asking if you want to exit the booking or place a 24hr hold.

I have done it that way before but It wouldn’t let me this week. Strange.
