First time on Freedom. Access to bow of the ship for departure?

Recommended Posts

We usually (Well, the two times we've been on a cruise) sail on the Magic and our last trip we really enjoyed standing out on the bow of the ship on the promenade level to wave at the Port Canaveral Jetty Park folks as we leave (Don't make fun of us, we're young-ish and allowed to have quirks). I'm browsing through the Freedom deckplan and I can't seem to find a comparable area on the ship. In fact, it looks like the Serenity deck is the only place like that.

Am I misreading the plans here? All in all it seems like there's a lot less outdoors-y spots to sit. We definitely going to be missing our aft vaping spot from the Magic.

Go to Deck 6 or 7, all the way forward. There should be doors on both sides leading out to the secret deck:

Fantastic! Thank you!

This was one of the decks I had lingered on and was unsure about. The cut-away view looks like it could be a deck or some sort of pathway / connection for the cabins there. I'm pleased to know it's accessible!

Deck 10 also has the “heavy” doors that lead to open bow area at the very front of the ship, we were in Cabin 1004 that was right beside door.

I will endeavor to make sure that I close the door quietly, as a respectful tribute to your stay in 1004.

Though you will not be there to hear it, know that your memory echos in every soft click of the latch.

Funny, we really never heard the door opening and closing, it was so seldom used. And btw Cabin 1004 is huge - you could hold a “line dance” in the bathroom and a “square dance” in the actual cabin area, we were shocked at its size.
