cpl100 Posted April 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2022 I am wondering what the white space is beside cabin number 11521. I am concerned about noise. If anyone knows for sure, please post. Thank you so much! https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/joy/deck-plans
hallux Posted April 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2022 I'm going to say that's a crew-access area for housekeeping. It could be storage, it could be a stairway/elevator. I know for sure that the the one just forward of the main stairs (the next large white space moving to the aft) is a crew-access stairway/elevator - I did a post-cruise excursion, they led us through that one from Q up to deck 7 to exit the ship. An alternative possibility - it's a mechanical area for the A/C and other services for cabins in that section of the deck.
