Covid test - Do you have to calculate boarding time or just day when testing?

When testing 2 days prior to sailing, do you have to calculate in the boarding time? (so if a Friday cruise boarding at 1 you can't take test before 1 on Wednesday) or do they simply look at the day; so anytime on Wednesday is fine?

 

Just don't want to mess it up.

It is not 48 hours prior, it's 2 days. You could do it at 12:01 am om Wednesday and be okay.
