Mardi Gras got a line wrapped up in her props

Some pictures going around Facebook groups apparently Mardi Gras got a line wrapped up into her prop in Costa Maya.

This happens a couple times a year....  happened about two weeks ago with a bow thruster in San Juan if I recall?

I have cleared fouled lines on sailboat props (basically, grab a scuba mask and cut the line loose) - anyone actually seen this done with a cruise ship?

 

The props on a cruise ship are a heck of a lot larger than a personal craft and the lines getting fouled are probably the inch thick mooring lines

 

Clearing them out of bow thrusters must be particularly fun, since those are somewhat enclosed
