Back 2 Back in Miami

For those of you who have done this, we have a question about what happens when we are “escorted” out en-mass between the two cruises. Are we permitted to go into the main terminal shopping area's? Or are we held in a separate area and then escorted back on the ship without having an option for a “bottle of wine dash”? Thanks in advance.

If you wait for the escort, they count people in the group at each step and you do everything together.  You can also leave at any time and come back onboard once the ship clears.  Set this up ahead of time with Guest Services so you will have your new cruise card and an "In Transit" pass that lets you bypass the normal checkin lines.

 

You can also use the Trolley to get to the shops over on the mainland.  Download the trolley app and you can see where the trolleys are and when they will be at your stop.

We've done a number of b2b's, 2 being in Miami and it's easy to do.  The only thing is if you go out touring or "wine" shopping, you'll have to wait on line to get back onto the ship.  No big deal as we went back on at around 2:30 -3pm when most folks were on the ship already. Also, they are now using 2 different terminals; "A" and "G" so make sure your Taxi or Uber driver gets you back to the right ship!  Another tip is that if you have the UDP,  you can make your dining reservations on the last night of the first sailing for your next sailing.    Enjoy!
