OBC from Price Drop non Early-Saver rate?

What, if anything, can you do to get on board credit if there's a price drop if you didn't book an Early Saver rate?

Then your only option is to request an upgrade if a higher category is now cheaper than your current cabin.

I am before final payment and requested OBC or some $$ back.  I paid $900 pp for a balcony room on MG.  Got a “Cruise Play Repeat” deal for $400 pp for a better cabin.    

Since I accidentally booked this without my PVP, I called Casino and they said “NO. Only for new bookings. “
Wow.  Does that sound right?  
 

Also, can someone post link to price match form please?

Yes, a lot of these really good Casino offers are only for new bookings.
