Explorer 2 Deluxe Cabin 1134 Noise and Luggage Storage

Recommended Posts

We are going on our first Marella cruise in February 2023 on Explorer 2 , I know it’s a long way off but getting very excited about cruising again.we have booked a Deluxe cabin on deck 10 for the large balcony and room size but are a bit worried that people say the aft cabins are very noisy when coming into port, has anyone had any experience of this ? , we don’t want to lose the extra space by changing cabins and can’t justify the extra money for a junior suite.

Also is there storage for suitcases under the beds as we could do this on Cunard and P&O cabins, or is there anywhere else too store them.

Thanks for any help.

We were on Explorer in March and were disappointed that our cases wouldn’t fit under the bed as we have had this on all other cruise ships. Our solution was to put the cases outside the cabin on the balcony as we had a de luxe balcony cabin and you get a deep balcony with half of it sheltered if it rains. What you would do if you had an inside cabin, I haven’t a clue!

We've  been on Explorer 2 and were in cabin 1130, almost the back. Didn't  notice any bad vibration, in fact it was a very quiet cabin. Cases went under the bed. Really liked the cabin and would book again.

Hi Dronnygirl,

Did cabin 1130 have sun loungers as well as chairs?
