gazingm42 Posted April 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2022 We have been on 13 cruises in the past. But due to a move and life we are not starting to sail again. We use to carry on or in luggage reasonable about water/soda bottles on to the ship. Has this policy change? Thanks Dan
klfrodo Posted April 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2022 Yes, however, I don't think you can buy and bring on bottled water cheaper than what Carnival sells if for and delivers to your cabin. Must be purchased pre-cruise on their website.
CookieShip Posted April 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2022 No bottles allowed, only cans.
mondello Posted April 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2022 @gazingm42 Each guest permitted to carry on twelve 12 oz cans of soda, juice/mixer, or water/sparkling water. Cans, cardboard or juice pouch; no plastic bottles. Each adult also permitted to carry on one 750ml bottle of wine or champagne. You may also carry on up to 12 cans of soda at port stops. VIFP perks for repeat guests get you one large 1 1/2 liter bottle of water free. You can pre-order a 12 pack of bottled water from the FunShops for about $5. Scan the QR code in cabin to eye available VIFP perks for Gold, Platinum or Diamond.

Do you know if the 8 X 50 oz for $20 is still an option?

It's also on Carnival's website. That's where I got the information.
Rare Buffettfan 225 Posted May 15, 2022 #9 Share Posted May 15, 2022 We bring soda on board as prefer Coke, and in room convenience. Carnival recently started contract with Pepsi.

cruisinmeme Posted May 16, 2022 #11 Share Posted May 16, 2022 I did read on the website it has to be in carry on. It is a 12 pack per person.
Itried4498 Posted May 17, 2022 #12 Share Posted May 17, 2022 In Long Beach, I drop my party & all the luggage off, then park my car elsewhere (I can save $100 on parking by dropping my car off elsewhere then walking). Two weeks ago, my mother inadvertently checked a bag containing two 12-packs of soda. It was delivered to our room, but had a dark red zip tie with a note that said '2 packs of soda.' So, I guess we got lucky they didn't confiscate it.
