Shareholders credit - Approved!

I sent our statement showing 100 shares on April 6th and received the confirmation email today stating it had been approved!  We had a bit of a VIFP discount on our fare as well as CHEERS included.  We also had $600 OBC because of previously cancelled cruises.  Based on previous posts saying they weren't granting too many of the shareholder benefits, I wasn't really expecting it to be granted.  

I have also heard if you were previously denied, send it in again because they have seemed to loosen up a little.  Good luck!

Good job! I am disappointed because I sent mine in on Monday for an October cruise and it was denied on Tuesday. =/ First one I've had denied since the restart, and this one wasn't discounted any more than the others.. and none were more than VIFP offers. Definitely no $25 cruises or anything. I'm debating on resubmitting just to see if a different person handling it might approve it.

Submit it again and 🤞 that you get a different employee reviewing it. You really have nothing to lose. I'm still at a loss as to how Carnival could have such a policy that turns a marketing tool into something negative.
