We're thinking of booking and had a couple of questions -

- can you buy the drinks package with OBC before boarding?

- With kids in the cabin, is the sofa bed made up permanently, or each day?

- Are the balcony dividers able to open on Ventura if you are cruising with friends?

No.The on board credit (OBC) is for on board purchased only.

Your cabin steward will make the sofa bed up daily.

The balcony dividers do open but check with your cabin steward.

We don't buy the drinks package but to give a different example on Epicurean speciality restaurant we paid £22pppn on line and £28pppn on board.

If you have a lot of OBC I would consider buying on board otherwise buy on line.

P&O drinks prices on board are reasonable and the package has to be purchased by you both for every day so imo it is not worth buying.

The drinks package is the same price either purchased through my.pocruises or purchase on board.  As you  have seen above, once onboard you can spend you OBC against it.  However you must purchase it on day 1 or 2 on board.  Possibly best to wait until you are onboard and check out the prices and see if your favourite drinks are included the package.

Thanks both - very helpful.

We always buy it on day 2 as we’ve never managed to get through £80 the day we get on board but drinking g&t’s all day I definitely manage to make it work and make up for my hubby’s shortfall, but he maxed it on Iona as well by drinking wine with our meals and beers the rest of the time
