Menu for different regions

Once upon a time, with a HAL management that was different than it now seems to be (at least pre-Covid), yes, there were menus items offered that reflected the regions in which your ship was sailing.  Filet of Kangaroo appeared on a dinner menu when I sailed in Australian waters.  (And, it was very good.)  Never tasted Barramundi until that cruise.

Agree, but the menu offerings will be more mundane than they used to be.  Sailing in the Caribbean, Jerk Chicken?  Well, it's not KFC, at least.

There can be some themed items or menus. But not huge changes. Expect many items to be there on all menus.

So basically your core Lido and MDR offerings in europe would still be american inclined, correct?

My opinion and experience?  Yes.  Breakfast offerings in the Lido Restaurant will have several items that appeal to our friends in the UK.  Bangers and Mash in the Lido or MDR?  Don't recall such being on the menu.

Agree with @rkacruiser. Our past experience has, in several cruises outside of the US, that HAL stays with a US orientation. A Baltic/Northern Europe 22 day cruise had 3 or 4 theme nights, mostly focused on German foods (2 nights), Scandinavian items and Irish food...but the menu was probably half US oriented. Breakfast was mostly US oriented.

A 20 day Med cruise had Italian, Spanish, French and Greek additions on various nights, but predominantly US oriented foods.

A 16 day Peru to San Diego cruise had the least variations...typically one local item per night.

Will be doing an 18 day Northern Europe cruise this summer....not expecting any major changes from our past experience, food wise.

Haggis is not likely to appear on the menu in Edinburgh?

Haggis is banned in USA, I think, because of the stomach used as the bag plus the contents aren’t normally sold there either. I am Scottish and never eat meat haggis, but the veggie one is delicious.
