Hello:

We are looking into booking an Azamara cruise which is a transatlantic.....We have concerns as the bigger suites are in the back or front and cruisers tend to feel more motion there, obviously depending on the weather.  Does anybody have experience with this?  Knowing these ships are sisters, would you pick suites higher or lower?  Deck 8? 7? 6?  And why?  We are big cruisers, 150+ however we have always gone middle middle which we cannot if we want the additional space.  Thanking you in advance!  Cheers

PS.  How long is Azamara awarded Celebrity Captains club points for?????

Personally I'd avoid one of the forward CO cabins on a ta. I've been in one of the aft CWs on a westbound and it was fine, even when it was rough and also in one of them on other occasions when the sea has been choppy.  No issue, but YMMV. The hull does seem to absorb the motion.  At the front and if it's rough the water crashes against the side of the hull.  Brutal.

Deck 7 is our preference, less chance of noise than either 7 or 8.  Would also second the advice to avoid the forward suites and haven't found that the aft suite has too much motion.  I understand staying in the middle to avoid motion on most ships but with the staterooms relatively small on Azamara, it is worth it to go with an aft suite IMHO.  If the ship is running at top speed, you will have some vibration in the aft suite, but not excessive motion.  Vibration usually not present at moderate cruise speeds.
