Virginia100 Posted April 29, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2022 Thinking of canceling my 8/8 Rome cruise and transfer non refundable deposit of $900 snd $2100 of used FCC to a 7/10 Bermuda cruise out of Bayonne NJ. Have no other payments. Will this be easy to do? The two combined is almost the Bermuda cruise cost. Advice?

Rare cruising sister Posted April 30, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 30, 2022 My friend tried to transfer her Alaskan cruise from May to August with her FCC and was told she had to cancel, get FCC refunded and apply to new booking. I am not sure how the deposit will work for you she had refundable. I know when pushed they can reissue the FCC faster than they say. I had mine reissued within 2 days after I pushed them to find what they lost.
CCJack Posted April 30, 2022 #6 Share Posted April 30, 2022 I don't know if I can answer directly, however, we have had to cancel 3 cruises due to COVID and carried over FCC each time. Every time, I was told I would get an email with the FCC or it would show up on my online account. Each time it did not within the time period they told me it would show up, I waited several months after the promised date. I had to have TA call each time. Then it was always applied correctly, but lots of long hold times, etc. My guess is employees are doing the best they can but they are just overwhelmed and can't keep up.
