Elite 10% Discount On Shore Excursions

One of  the Elite benefits of the Captain's Circle Club is a 10% discount on shore excursions.  My question is how do you obtain this discount if you book online ahead of the cruise departure?

they will show up on your on-board account.  I wondered the same thing and when we were in San Francisco earlier this year after our excursion I had the money.

As refundable or non-refundable credit?

 

Would that be determined whether paid in advance using OBC or by chargecard?

I am looking at the 10% credits on my account but don’t know how to tell if refundable or not. Presumably would be refundable but I see no distinction via the medallion app about any of our credits which include both refundable and non refundable credits.

In December, mine was refundable. Not sure if things have changed or not.

Yes, refundable, which is what it should be.  On board, you get a cash discount.  Only way to make it even for a pre-cruise booking, is to give a 10% refundable OBC.  This is the same situation we had for the MedallionNet discount before MC App was updated to discount at point of sale.
