LeesSummitCruiser1 Posted May 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2022 In 2009 it was by 9 am. We made an 11:30 flight to the us out of BCN.
gumshoe958 Posted May 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2022 What time does it say on your invoice? Disembarkation normally begins about 30-60 minutes after that, unless there’s a delay in getting clearance. Last week the Wonder TA was scheduled to arrive in Barcelona at 0615, and disembarkation had begun by 0645 I think.

We wouldn’t be rushing to disembark as have booked a day room for 9 am-6pm. Any idea what time the zero count might be ? Thanks
gumshoe958 Posted May 9, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 9, 2022 I think the final group was scheduled to be off by 9 so I’m guessing 9-9.30? Don’t quote me though - I’d long gone by then!
Reina del Mar Posted May 9, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted May 9, 2022 Thank you..so would we if our flight could be scheduled earlier..unfortunately not able to do that this time. Usually in the airport by 9.30 with Princess, not quite so sure of timings with Royal. When we did a B2B out of Galveston think our meeting was 10.30 to walk off and back on, enabling zero count..just don’t trust my memory ! Trying to be organised as there will be eight of us this time.
Biker19 Posted May 9, 2022 #7 Share Posted May 9, 2022 2 hours ago, Reina del Mar said: Any idea what time the zero count might be ? There's usually no zero count like in the US on European sailings. Also , some ships do interporting, so again, there would be no zero count.
Rare steamboats Posted May 9, 2022 #8 Share Posted May 9, 2022 There is no zero count in Europe and Wonder of the Seas does interporting in Barcelona and Civitavecchia. Usually when the ship is in port by 6 am you can leave by 6:30/7 am. Last Friday there were 5 ships in port (4 big ones - MSC Seaview, Wonder of the Seas, AIDAcosma and Costa Toscana plus the "small" Norwegian Gem). Our arrival was delayed and we weren´t docked until 8:30 am. Ship was cleared minutes to 9 am. And there was only one gangway open for the Wonder of the Seas (usually there are two). It was a real mess as we were supposed to get off by 8 am. steamboats
Reina del Mar Posted May 9, 2022 Author #9 Share Posted May 9, 2022 (edited) Thank you. Good to know. Three ships due in Barcelona on the day we disembark and Wonder showing 5 am arrival. We could be off very early. Edited May 9, 2022 by Reina del Mar
