How do you get to 30 points? Latitudes Insider Offer.

Where are you seeing this?
I cannot find it on the NCL site to see the terms and conditions.

I would imagine it is the “up to” wording.

The daily emails. May Insider. Some say 1 extra point. Others say extra points?

My math would be 1 point per day. 1 point for Haven. 1 point for insider.

7 days 21 points. How do you get to 30?

Triple point promo? They’ve been doing that lately for selected itineraries/dates. Heck, I just disembarked from a Bliss 7-day Alaska cruise where I earned 21 points for a non-Haven cabin.

With the extra point for Haven… that’s still only 28 points.

I know NCL math sucks and the editing isn't any better.

The picture shows 7 day and I have done that cruise before.

I don't think they do any 10 day out of New Orleans? Could be wrong on that one.

You can't text them and not waiting on hold for a hour for a wrong answer.

Figured we have some travel agents here that might be able to help.

I have the Escape booked now, but for 30 points that might get a free bottle of water?😉

Ah, okay. So I checked the current crop of extra point cruises and see one 10- day cruise plus several 9-day ones. There’s also an 11-day cruise, which would be 33 points.

Math is hard.

Quadruple points on a 7 day sailing in Haven would be 28 points. For that particular ad though, it's calling out the 7 day with 'up to' 30 points. So yeah, no. Not going to hit 30 on a 7 day cruise, even with quadruple points and Haven.

April had double extra points.  May has one extra point for some cruises including 2023 cruises.  I get 21 points for my 7 night  inside cabin this summer and 14 points for my cruise in February.  This will get me to platinum.

do we need to book directly with NCL to get the promotion, or any travel agency including the big warehouse would count?  Thanks.

Both are ok.

Just make sure that the correct NCL promotion code (for extra points) is added to your booking.

If you later find a price drop and the promo has ended you will lose the extra points. Usually worth it but not always.

True that...we booked a 7 night Greek Islands that had a double bonus points offer (21 points, would have got to gold) but repriced 2 days before final payment for just shy of $900 cdn less.

14 extra point or 900 bucks, hmmmm - we took the 900 🙂

Off topic but still am asking: Are the Latitude rewards (free meals, free laundry, etc.) predicated on 7 days + and pro-rated for shorter cruises (4 days)?

Sorry to intrude...

margretha

They are per cruise, regardless of length. The only difference that cruise length makes is that you don’t get some of the benefits on very short cruises. The detail is on the website.
