Interporting question

My family and I are interporting on the Wonder in a few weeks.  
 

The cruise is listed as starting and finishing in Barcelona. We are arriving half way thru the scheduled cruise in Rome and Departing from Rome 7 days later.  
 

My question is this.  The itenerary has us arriving in Barcelona (the listed cruises departure stop) at 5am. Will those passengers interporting be able to get off the boat for visiting Barcelona early or will we have to wait for the departing passengers to exit the boat before getting off for the day

Depends on your definition of early - you should be able to leave the ship within an hour of arrival.

What they may do as that is an interport is have one gangway specified for departing guests and another specified for the new boarding guests.  Just a guess.
