avdb Posted May 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2022 Hello, I'm booked on a P&O cruise to Portugal & Spain in October & want to try to understand (apart from the excursions you can buy) what (if any) shuttles P&O offer usually from the port of Leixões (Porto) and Lisbon from the ports into the cities? We're probably looking to do a walking tour in Porto, so it might be better just to buy one of their excursions to do this to make it easier, but in Lisbon we're meeting some friends who live there so no need for a tour. Thanks in advance for any help 🙂 Amanda

In Porto you will need the shuttle to take you from the port to the Town centre which is a 30-40 minute drive.

If you walk along the promenade past the big yellow building there is a big square which leads on to the main shopping street in Lisbon. This was on our cruise on Iona in March. davecttr Posted May 16, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2022 About 3/4 mile flat walk to 'black horse square' on the river front beside the tourist area
Rare Host Sharon Posted May 16, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2022 The shuttle in Porto drops you off near the Clerigos Tower. You can then just walk or pick up a HoHo bus.
Fionboard Posted May 17, 2022 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2022 Can recommend panoramic coach tour/river cruise/wine caves tour in Porto. Good value for money and covers everything. Lisbon just walk-in.
