Diamond Princess Balcony

Hi. We are planning a cruise on the Diamond Princess for November. Quick question regarding the balconies. Are they stacked or tiered like a wedding cake so that if you were on, say, Deck 10, you would look down into another balcony on Deck 9, or whatever, or is the ship configured so that all balconies are flush and if you look down, you would see the ocean?

Thanks!
