AmaWaterways Wine Cruise question

Decided to take the AMA Bordeaux Wine Cruise next March based on this description of the wine cruises on the AMA website:

AmaWaterways wine cruises add a unique epicurean dimension to a variety of itineraries at no additional cost. Join one of these wine cruises with a special wine host and be treated to a menu of exclusive wine and culinary experiences designed to delve deeper into the wonderful flavors and tastes of Europe.

My question about this is that in doing more research on the cruise here on CC River Cruising, I saw a couple of comments from awhile ago that the onboard "experts" were really U.S. winery people that brought their wines onboard and that the onboard tastings advertised were just those wines.

Can anyone shed some light on an AMA Wine Cruise?
