AmaWaterways Wine Cruise question

Decided to take the AMA Bordeaux Wine Cruise next March based on this description of the wine cruises on the AMA website:

My question about this is that in doing more research on the cruise here on CC River Cruising, I saw a couple of comments from awhile ago that the onboard "experts" were really U.S. winery people that brought their wines onboard and that the onboard tastings advertised were just those wines.

 

Can anyone shed some light on an AMA Wine Cruise?

That was my previous understanding of the AMA wine cruises, but I just read this article that says they are now using European wine experts:

Thanks Host Jazzbeau for pointing me to this article!  I feel much better now about choosing Ama for our Bordeaux cruise in March.
