Arrivecan app for ne canadian cruise

We are going out of Cape Liberty NY. on a cruise to Halifax Canada in June.  Are we required to do the Arrivecan app?

We are doing B-B Boston to Montreal June 25th. 

I assume we use Halifax as first entry to Canada on Arrive Can? 

From what I read still doesn't look like we have to retest if on B-B back to Boston?? 

Last Caribbean B-B you just stayed on ship, and they retested you at n/c.

If Halifax is your first Canadian port stop, then yes; otherwise whichever is the earliest stop is your Port of Entry for ArriveCAN and Immigration purposes.
