recent cruisers on Emerald Princess?

Any reviewers of their recent 2022 cruise on the Emerald Princess?

Absolutely the "worst wifi at sea". In this regard, the Emerald is in a class by itself. 

 

And yes, I'm very familiar with MEO vs GEO. That notwithstanding, the Emerald stands alone. TERRIBLE WIFI.

We were on the Emerald from May 9th to May 21st. This was our 7th Princess cruise. It may have been a post Covid thing or just the Emerald being the Emerald, however, this was not the Princess we knew and loved. The vibes were different and we actually experienced a few grumpy and rude crew members. The buffet food quality had deteriorated.

No Chef's Table or Winemaker's Dinner took place.

 

It did not help that none of the bars or Coffee Bar would permit you to go directly to the bar and order until day 7 when it was known that the Covid numbers were looking good.

 

We will be on the Grand in September and will be able to do some comparing and figure out if it is the new Princess or just the Emerald.

Oh No!!! Geez.. I sure hope it gets better..soon!!! Not so wonderful to be on a blah ugh ship for 2+ weeks with things lacking compared to how it had been in the past. Please post and keep me updated after your cruise. We are booked on Dec 3rd… Panama Canal trip.
