Umbrellas available?

If you are wanting something to take with you on tours, a collapsible one would be easier to deal with. The ship’s are the size of a walking stick.

I like the Regent umbrellas; they double as walking sticks.  In addition, you can use them to form your own precision drill team; I have found they spin really well and you can toss them to each other in the same manner as rifles.

Years ago,  I was on a Celebrity cruise in Norway and it was raining.  We ended up spending the night in port (not the original plan).  We decided to have dinner in the town,  and walk back to the ship, the town was full that night with lots of broken umbrellas - lots of them.   It was very funny in a sense, but someone had to go clean up the mess in the morning!

We had rain a few days on our last month's cruise.  I left the Regent umbrella in the closet and grabbed one by the elevators as we left the ship.  It was more convenient and we didn't have a wet one in our closet.  😁

Oh and if you happen to break your leg, the umbrella can double as a splint!
