Captain Paoletti has announced they are heading north, and to expect a bumpy ride.

I looked at the BOM interactive wave map and the high seas will move away from our coast very quickly so hopefully they'll only have a few bouncy hours.

Once they are past Bundaberg theyā€™ll be within the reef and it seems calmer ā€¦ā€¦ šŸŒŠšŸŒŠ

They can go that far north. The current Pacific Explorer cruise is a three-night cruise from Sydney and back into Sydney. Even to get to Brisbane takes two nights at sea.

They also are not going anywhere near that far. Just doing a nice 10kn loop and they are back into Moreton Bay in the wee hours.

On the current cruise of 2 days - probably. But Moreton Bay can get a touch savage at times too.
Ā

But on Cbtours cruise on the 16th, they go a bit further up the coast than Moreton Bay šŸ™„ - hope they do anyway!

Pacific Explorer has decided to brave the elements and are slowly tracking north towards Coffs. They are returning south tomorrow when the waves drop a bit. It will still be exciting though, heading back into the southerly swell.
