candydane Posted June 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2022 We're booked in an Owners Suite on the Diamond Princess for October. I cannot find any mention on the Princess website about a Concierge for suite passengers. We have not yet cruised on Princess post-Covid and I'm wondering if Concierges have been eliminated? Thanks. beg3yrs Posted June 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2022 AFAIK only the Royal class of ships has a concierge. You won't find one on the Diamond Princess.
skynight Posted June 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2022 Never was a concierge on the Diamond Princess or any other Grand Class ships. This service was added to the six newer Royal Class ships. If you are looking to book dining or room service you can just call those lines and you should receive good service. As a full suite passenger you can order MDR selections for room service from the full menu. The full suite breakfast, location will be advised once on the ship, is something very special for full suite passengers only. It is one of the better benefits.
candydane Posted June 12, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted June 12, 2022 Have only been on other cruiselines or Royal class ships for several years. We've usually used our Concierge for dining reservations, priority tender boarding, and easy disembarkation but apparently that wasn’t a problem for us in the past so shouldn't be now. Thanks.
