Not exactly. According to news reports, most of those cancelations were caused by lack of crew! Usually weather will cause a delay, but weather is rarely the cause of cancelation. We have experienced problems on AA due to lack of crew for eight years! So Covid isn’t the total issue either. The airline’s employee relations policies have been causing problems back when nobody had heard of Covid.
