Have not been on RCCl in 12 years

Do you get a wrist band as a room key (seen on Symphony videos)?

If so do you have to get them ? or a regular card key?

21 days on Symphony and have never seen a wrist band.  Last cruise on Navigator we got a covid wrist band.

Not available post Covid.

When we were on Harmony they were no longer using them and we did not see anybody who had one from a prior cruise.

They are not using bands any longer. Supposedly, if you have an old bad, you can get it activated for your room at Guest Services.
