“Qualifying purchase” on Celebrity credit card

It says u get 10000 points worth $100 OBC after “qualifying purchase”—anyone know what that is?

Great question! I have reviewed all of their terms and conditions and literature and cannot find it defined anywhere.

Also, balance transfers, annual fee payment, finance charges, late payment charges, etc.  Basically, if you buy a product/service it’s probably included.

Any purchase within 90 days would seem to qualify for the 10,000 bonus points.

Most say that…strangely this doesn’t specify.

I’ve even have seen cards that say after your 1st charge you get your bonus

Can you help OP by saying where?  The latest T&C don't have that.

 

And I'll correct myself again---I previously provided info for their Celebrity Card with an annual fee---the CORRECT T&C (the no annual fee card) sez "The following transactions are not considered purchases and will not earn points: Balance Transfers and Cash Advances".

So there are other benefits other than the OBC for the bonus 10,000 miles.  The way it reads there is no minimum on the purchase.  However for the $300 off of a cruise you must charge $5,000 in the first 60 days. Plus you would get double points towards if the payment was paying Celebrity.  

We may have to look into it before paying off our next cruise 🙂
