Legal or not?

So my sister is going on her first cruise on Carnival. She wants to bring her curling iron and "hot curlers".  Are these items legal?  I know you can't bring an iron, steamer or any type of hot plate items.

No clue about curlers, but I always bring my curling wand without issues.

I always bring a curling iron and they are allowed. Not sure about the "hot curlers".
