Ugh. I'm in the Haven on the Pearl next week...I would be so upset if it was full of kids acting like brats.

The kids are not acting like brats but there are a lot of them. They fill up the hot tubs, especially on sea days. Get Vibe passes if you can. Soooo worth it IMO. You can call NCL to book them

Unfortunately no vibe on the Pearl. It's a much smaller Haven.

So far the food and presentation looks so scrumptious!!

Much better than Royal Caribbean.  They need to send

some of their chefs to train with NCL's

I must say I do think NCL has better eggs Benedict than Royal but I did love the French toast on Royal!

Pro tip - if you're too full for dessert but something (non ice-cream) catches your eye, they can always send it up to your room with your butler so it's waiting for you later on in the evening. We've done that a few times and it was nice to have slice of cake or something waiting for us at the end of a night of drinking.

They'll even do that if you are not in the Haven and don't have a butler.

Dinner was at La Cucina. It was very crowded with Lots of families  Food was 8:10 forks. Oh, BTW I found out that the Silverado is ONLY now available in the Haven due to shortages! WHAT!! 😱

That’s nuts! They gave us an alternative  which the girls liked but it was not my fav.

and, not to be too annoying (apologies for so many questions on your thread), how long does one get to stay in the ice bar? Are the parkas and hats really mandatory or can I just go in my shorts? I live in Central NY so 17 degrees isn't exactly cold to me.

Why do people staying in the Haven need Vibe? This!👇👇

This photo got me looking at Vibe...but I do have the thermal spa so that will probably work out nicely for the tub (either the giant pool or hot tub). That is the most people I've ever seen utilize the Haven Courtyard though!

I did not know this tip.   When we were in the Haven this past February, we did have our desserts sent to our cabin a few nights and really enjoyed eating them on our balcony.   But now, I will definitely inquire on our next sailing as we will be in a non-Haven Suite--going Haven-Lite.

How long did you guys last in the ice bar? When we went we were the only ones who stayed the whole time. I've always wondered if I could order that hazelnut cocktail outside of the ice bar...

Ice Bar. I only stayed about 15 min. The DDs stayed 20 minutes which is what they generally allow. You get 2 drinks so basically you can stay until those drinks are gone. I have never seen them force people to leave but remember, there are people waiting to get in. I’m sure you could ask them to make the hazelnut drink at the martini bar next to the Ice Bar but not sure.
