tink24 Posted July 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 14, 2022 My son might have Covid. Was tested at Kaiser today. We sail on 8/12 out of Los Angeles. What happens if he is still testing positive 2 days before sail date but is no longer considered contagious? Hopefully someone else here has experienced this and can help. hal2008 Posted July 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2022 Obtain "certificate of recovery" from your doctor. It has advantages of you not needing any pressure of "2days before boarding" test.
not-enough-cruising Posted July 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 14, 2022 (edited) He needs to get a documented PCR positive test now. (MUST be a PCR test) If he is still testing positive nearer to the trip, you will need a “Certificate of Recovery” letter from his physician as well as the dated PCR test. Get the test ASAP, timing is critical. Edited July 14, 2022 by not-enough-cruising
