CocoCay - Wave Jet Tour - Age Min

Hi All-

The rules for the Cococay Wave Jet Tour says Min Age is 16.  It also says 16-20 year olds need to show a  Driver License. Does anyone know how strictly they enforce this rule and if they would accept a learners permit?

They didn't check licenses at all a few weeks ago but under age 16 would not be allowed to purchase a driver ride.  The ride is a convoy, so it is not like you are riding totally alone.  Might depend on how young the driver looks.

 

They do have lockers right there in case you are worried about losing your ship ID and license on the ride.

They did check my son's license years ago when he was 16 1/2 yrs old and had just tested for his license the day we left for the cruise.  They did accept a temporary license at that time.

 

They were checking licenses for all those 20 and younger and driving the day we did it.
