12yrs old. Yup she's my little Buddy. Did our first Cruise Together over Easter, next one with me is Panama Canal in Oct 2023

Our count down starts at the 30 day mark from when we leave our house to go to the pre cruise hotel.

Good for her, and you.  I was in my 30's when I did my first cruise.

Since shutdown 2 of my 3 cruises have been booked with a week to go. I typically don't have time to countdown.

 

Longest I ever booked out a cruise was like 4 months when I took my parents to Alaska. I am right now thinking about a cruise in September without a clue what ship I might go on (not even sure if RCI, NCL, DCL).

Kind of random, but for some reason the day the luggage tags are out is the day that does it for me and I start getting really getting excited.  The day countdown is a constant but faint background drum beat that starts getting gradually louder at day 99...

As soon as I book it, whenever that is! be it a couple of months to a year out, the countdown is on my phone making the the kids moan and groan when I tell them! 😁
