When I try to book steakhouse now (pre-cruise) it wants me to pay/use credit card. Is there anyway to make reservation without this? I’d prefer to use my OBC.

You should be given the option to apply the OBC. I just did this the other day for the Steakhouse and Rudi's for Celebration.

I was able to use OBC to book Rudy’s on the Celebration, but it would not let me use it for gratuities or Wi-Fi precruise.  I’m puzzled as to why.

When I have OBC like that, I don't prepay grats. I know ours will be about $350, so that takes up half of it.

For grats, there is no point, I suppose - just don't prepay, you will be billed automatically during your cruise, and the OBC will take care of it.

 

As for wi-fi...hmm, that does seem like something that would make sense to allow OBC to be used towards.

I just purchased Wi-Fi using OBC for both Jan '23 Horizon and Nov '23 Celebration

Did you click all the way through the process-right up to payment?

 

I just did it, got to a screen that said I had OBC available, checked the box to use it, no problem

Last cruise, we used half of ours for extra gratuities for a special MDR server, and half for the Ukrainian crew relief fund.
