Shannydayle Posted July 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2022 Where can we eat on the Panorama on embarkation day for lunch?Want to avoid the buffet. Is the dining room open or even a pay venue? Thanks:)
Rare Saint Greg Posted July 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2022 (edited) Dining room is closed. Go up above the buffet. In JiJi's they have a sit down ordering version of mongolian wok. Or in Cucina they have sit down ordering pasta bar. Both included. Those spots are quiet. Less crowded. It's where I go on Embarkation day when on Dream or Vista class ships. The blue cards wont find those spots until about day 5. Edited July 21, 2022 by Saint Greg 5

Woody14 Posted July 21, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 21, 2022 Was on the July 9 sailing. Agree the pig & anchor is a great choice, there was almost no one there.
Shannydayle Posted July 21, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted July 21, 2022 Lots of choices Thanks! Do you happen to remember the cost of the pig and anchor? Is it per item or a flat fee? Tia

I plan on going there on Panorama in September, it was not crowded at all.

The main pig and anchor is a per item menu and is open something like 5-10 pm.

The website shows $ What they have in there for lunch is included. Lunch isn't really JiJis and Cucina. What they have in JiJis for lunch is a sit down version mongolian wok with salad and wonton options. What they have in cucina is called the captains pasta bar. Which is cooked to order pasta or lasagna with salad and bread. I do recommend those for lunch especially on embarkation day...but it's not anywhere in the same stratosphere of what you would get in those locations for dinner.
Sotermarler Posted October 14, 2022 #19 Share Posted October 14, 2022 I was on the Panorama last week and we went to Guys Pig and Anchor which was good. I went to JiJi’s on a sea day for Mongolian, and I have to say it was the worst meal of the week. By far the worst Mongolian I’ve ever had, had zero flavor.
