Horizon issues

Hi,

   We are thinking of planning out first B2B cruise in April 2023 on the Horizon. I saw a few complaints about ship AC in some public places 

and the lack of cooling in others. Does anyone have any recent experiences to share? Thanks in advance

We are on the Horizon right now. We haven’t felt the heat described by some in the MDR, comedy club, main theater, oceans plaza or the casino. I can’t speak for other areas since those are the places we spend most of our time. Our room has been perfect. Havana aft balcony. 
 

It can be warm in some transitional spaces. Like stairs on certain floors or the space when you walk in to the lido from outside. But it has been transitory, meaning, we haven’t spent any time where we felt it was too warm. 
 

Im not saying what others have felt didn’t happen. But heat has not been an issue for us this week.

We did experience some of the heat issues (mostly in transitional areas as Hoosierpop pointed out), but it was nothing that would keep us from going on the ship again.

If you are not cruising until next year, I would think any problem would be taken care of before then.

I was on it a couple weeks ago for an 8 nighter and I never felt any AC issues...nor did any of my party of 6.

On her 4 times never had a problem.  In fact in cabins, the temp was the coolest I have ever had.

We were on two weeks ago and found ourselves randomly looking for spots that were too hot. There were only some small, tight areas where it felt warm. None of the public assembly spaces felt hot.We were never uncomfortable.

Just got off the Horizon from an 8 day.  First time we didn't need a fan in our room because it was so cold.  I am always hot too.  Just like others, near the doors from Lido to outside were warm, but we were never sitting in one spot where we were hot.  Loved that ship.
