phoenix2009 Posted July 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2022 Hi all, We are taking the HAL inside passage Alaskan cruise in August. I was hoping someone could suggest some can't miss locations where we could get that perfect family pic? We are looking more for a location with the landscape in the back vs. capturing the ship. Is there a particular excursion we should do? Do they have photographers on board that can perhaps capture the 4 of us infront of a glacier or other landmark? Halfway up the main street looking back at the ship docked at the end. Glacier day on the back of the ship with the glacier behind you. Creek Street in Ketchikan. phoenix2009 Posted July 23, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted July 23, 2022 Thanks for the response @pierces Will there be ship photographers walking around to capture pics the day the ship is in glacier bay?
pengu1n Posted July 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2022 They were outside walking around last time we went. Interesting shots from on the ship: on the bow, with the glacier in the background or in the pool (!) also with glacier background! Tahku, The Whale Project in Juneau. Most people seeing this think it's really a whale rather than a statue. If you frame it correctly, it will look like you're standing in front of a breeching whale.
