Bar Tabs for B2B

If (God forbid) we have a bar tab balance left over at the end of our first cruise of a B2B, will it carry-over to our 2nd sailing?

Negative, based on several posters experiences they will not transfer forward.

You can, however, use your bar tab to buy bottles at any bar (not the store) if you have anything to use up.

Naturally, our first sailing of the B2B is the shorter of the two.

Oh well, these two old farts will have fun burning up our bar tab in 4 days. lol.

Hopefully, they will adapt as they grow.

There should be no need to check-in for a 2nd or 3rd cruise, and balances should roll-over.

In the hospitality biz, it's all about accommodating the customer, not the bookkeepers.

We did ask one of our favorite bartenders on board what the price would be for a bottle of mezcal if we wanted to have it in our room. The price he gave us was basically the price of a shot *16 or whatever it would work out to be (no deals to be had really).

Not saying there are deals, but if you have a significant bar tab to use up, it is an option.

We went the route of buying bottles at the start of our cruise so that we could mix our own drinks in our cabin (with sugar free flavor drops and club soda bottles we brought back from Sip).  I expect we will do the same on our B2B, since is is convenient and great when you want a cocktail but don't want to leave your balcony.
