What's that saying "nothing is free" so true. It only took me waiting on hold 2 hours yesterday to get my free cruise. So I think I still came out ahead on the deal. Don't give up the fight.

Work through one of the casino focused travel agencies that specializes in getting free or discounted cruises for casino playing clients. They have direct contact with staff at Celebrity. Since they are a type of travel agency cannot mention them here  but Google "free cruises casino travel agency"  or similar words..and one or two of them should pop up. When I want to cruise I call  or email my assigned agent at the agency and booking is usually finalized that day. Easy.

Second call, got through in around 35mins, was able to book.  Some things of interest:

1)  Rep said tonight they're open to 11pm EST

2)  Rep said their name and then "are you calling to book a Mexican Riviera offer?", they must be busy and I will mention both XMas and NYE are part of the deal, often those holidays along with thanksgiving are excluded

3) To book, I had to forward the rep my BCC offer email, that was surprising
